2016/2017 Rocket Team Information
About the OEHS TARC Model Rocket Team
TARC Rocket Team allows students to apply their math and science skills to a real world problem. Students will design, build and fly a rocket of their own design to carry a raw egg"stranaut" to 775 feet and return it safely. In addition to using math and science skills students will learn to use a computer design and simulation program to design and test their rocket. This is a national contest sponsored in part by NASA and the United States aerospace industry. Meetings will be held every Tuesday and Thursday in C115 until 4:00pm. The team is open to anyone. The only requirement is that they be willing to work hard, learn about rocketry, apply those lessons while having a blast!
